NEW - PAWNLESS ENDGAME
Adrian Fulle hired me to score his thriller, PAWNLESS ENDGAME. Adrian and I have worked together since his first feature film Three Days. The film is currently in post and I've been asked to write something new for me in a house/techno style.

NEW - 1945A
Ryan Nagata and George Edelman are in production on their next project - 1945A, a Sci-Fi/War/Adventure film combining models, CGI and live-action. Score is to be epic - think SAVING PRIVATE RYAN and BAND OF BROTHERS. More details to come...

WRAPPED - A SON'S WAR
For Academy Award nominee Steven Edell's latest film, the WWII-thriller A SON'S WAR, I recorded strings and harp at Firehouse, utilizing session players Gayle Levant, David Walther, Armen Ksajikian and many others - pulled together by Mark R. Steve brought in composer Tom Newman (WALL-E, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD) as score consultant and Kenny Hall as music editor.

For THE END OF ALL THINGS directed by J.C. Schroder, I worked again with session players from the Hollywood Studio Symphony!

Finished three sessions for Ryan Nagata's Sci-Fi film MAROONED? at Firehouse with an amazing group of A-list session players including Endre Granat, Rick Baptist, Jim Thatcher, Marcia Dickstein and Chris Bleth. The players were contracted by Mark Robertson. Casey Stone engineered and mixed.

A SON'S WAR WINS AT PALM SPRINGS & ANGELUS
A SON'S WAR by director Steven Edell debuted worldwide at the 2009 Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, winning the "Most Promising Student Filmmaker Award." The film also won honors at the Angelus Awards and the prestigious Gold Circle Award, Caucus for Producers, Writers and Directors. The PGA is screening Edell's film for execs at Sony, Warner Bros and 20th Century FOX.

Douglas Hunter's doc THE CONSTANT PROCESS won BEST DOCUMENTARY at Pamona. His film was reviewed by THE LA TIMES

MAROONED? WINS BEST SCI-FI AWARD
Ryan Nagata's Sci-Fi film MAROONED? won the Audience Award for Best Sci-Fi film at Beverly Hills Film Festival - congrats! Ryan's film is screening at many festivals, including Newport Beach Film Festival and Florida Film Festival.

PARK CITY - OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN FILM MUSIC GOLD MEDAL
The 2009 Park City Film Music Festival, which awarded me their highest honor - The Outstanding Achievement in Film Music Gold Medal - for five film scores in 2008, announced three new honors today: THE END OF ALL THINGS directed by J.C. Schroder won Director's Choice Award for Best Film Score and Gold Medal for Musical Excellence; UNCONDITIONAL directed by Brandon Thomas won Gold Medal for Musical Excellence and THE CONSTANT PROCESS directed by Douglas Hunter won Director's Choice Award for Best Documentary Film Score.
Also at Park City...Tromadance screened MAROONED? directed by Ryan Nagata and Slamdance gave their best music video award to director Peter Rhoads (PATCHING CABBAGE). Peter and I met on BIG FAT LIAR as assistants to Shawn Levy and Chris Beck.

OXFORD FESTIVAL IN MOVIEMAKER TOP 25
MM‘s 2009 list of 25 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee includes OXFORD INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - run by J.C. Schroder, an amazing up-and-coming director. We've collaborated on two award-winning films - THE END OF ALL THINGS & FREEDOMLAND, and two features in production. Oxford's inaugural festival honored my work as a composer.

ME FIRST DEBUT ON STRIKE.TV
Peter Hyoguchi, co-founder of Strike.TV, hired me to score ME FIRST (Arrested Development meets Supernanny), his episodic web series staring Tim Bagley playing on Strike.tv now. Don't miss the pilot episode of ME FIRST and while there, take a minute to watch the Strike.TV promo reel. It's a great introduction to other web-shows and includes several tracks of mine licensed by Happy Hour.

THE TRUTH AT PALM SPRINGS
Palm Springs screens director Lindsey Shockley's film THE TRUTH ABOUT FACES starring Hanna Hall (FORREST GUMP, HALLOWEEN). Film also screens at Atlanta Film Festival and Chlotrudis Short Film Festival.
